Christopher Zinn is a consumer advocate, campaigner and media commentator who works in the marketplace of consumer empowerment. A father of teenagers, he is concerned about the invisible toll consumerism takes on society. He developed these themes in a series of talks to Generation Next audiences around the country in 2015.

Our children are conditioned, and often delighted, to be among the most materialistic and consumer-focused in history. While research underlines the cost of such consumerism to young people’s wellbeing, growing awareness of the issues and family and societal interventions can help.
