It has nothing to do with physical complications or whether they have the right partner or not, but a WA study has found that most people who do not have children are childless by choice.
The survey, by Edith Cowan University lecturer in psychology Bronwyn Harman, found three quarters of people without children had made an active choice to not have children.

I imagine that that choice is influence heavily by economic factors, as well as environmental. People just want to DO more today because they can – having children stops you from building your career, travelling, etc.
That is quite interesting, I can understand the different reasons K stated above.
I must admit- I am one of these people that are mentioned in the article. By choice, I have decided not to have kids at this point in life as I still want to work, travel and do things without being considered a bad mother. I believe there is no point bring your kids into the world until you believe you are ready- as you want to bring them up in the best environment that you can offer. That’s not such a bad thing right?
