Indigo is a positive, body friendly, age appropriate online magazine for girls. It is also available in print form through subscription.
Not only is it full of fun stuff, but it actually makes girls feel great about who they are. The emphasis is on creating a positive, independent self-perception for girls in the pre-teen and early teen years.
Sections in the website include:
Health & Wellbeing – concentrates on boosting self esteem and feeling positive about yourself; with games like “10 things I like about You” game.
Style – has girls of many shapes and sizes and looks at how best to dress for confidence and body shape.
Creative & fun stuff – things to do which don’t include sitting in front of a computer or texting on a mobile.
Schools – Over 900 schools across Australia are using indigo magazine as a classroom tool and library resource.
