In a recent radio segment Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson of Australian Idol fame complained about how his 16-year-old daughter was adamant of getting a tattoo, despite that her age makes it illegal. He called psychologist and Generation Next speaker Dr Michael Carr-Gregg to talk about how should approach this issue.

I absolutely agree, the young girl probably now doesn’t even really want the tatoo but she has made such a show of it she won’t back down, if you do stick to your guns, be firm and follow through I think you will find she will infact back down as she can without loosing face and probably secretly sigh with releif as she probably didn’t even want to go through with it but would have to prove a point.
