Yes the only point of it is to compare the children with others. Why do we need to do that? I suppose it is helpful to show teachers and school where they need to improve. Does seem to stress the kids though.
NAPLAN has killed teaching. Creativity has gone. Educating the whole child has gone. Fun and enjoyment of learning has gone. NAPLAN should go now before it is too late. It is NOT being used as it was designed to be used. Good teachers are disappearing into a society that is data driven. Soooo sad. 🙁
